Inside the app

Three ways to spend time in the text.

01

Read with clarity

A distraction-free reader with a calm, editorial layout — the words come first, everything else stays out of the way until you ask for it. Switch on Read Mode and study markers, highlights and word links are hidden too, for a completely undistracted Bible reading experience.

Built for substance

Depth without unnecessary complexity.

Simple Study Bible brings substantial study resources into a reading experience that remains calm, clear and centred on Scripture. Nothing is hidden — but nothing is forced on you either.

Clarity
A reading view with one job: let you read.
Depth
Original languages, commentary and context, whenever you want it.
Context
Maps, history and geography that ground the text in its world.
Accessibility
Every tool stays a tap away — never a wall to climb first.
The Be Still screen: 'Be still, and know that I am God' over a dusk gradient, with the Ancient Voices track ready to play.

Be Still

A quieter kind of study.

Some passages aren't meant to be studied so much as sat with. Be Still pairs Scripture read aloud — a growing library of recorded narration, with your device's own voice filling in wherever a passage hasn't been recorded yet — with quiet ambient sound made for lingering in one place rather than moving on to the next thing.

Our commitment

The Free Bible Mission

Helping place Bibles into people's hands—freely.

After applicable fees and the costs of operating and maintaining the app have been accounted for, 50% of the remaining net proceeds from Pro upgrades will be used to purchase Bibles for free distribution.

The initiative will begin in the United Kingdom. As funds and practical distribution arrangements allow, the hope is to extend it into other countries in the future.

Why this app exists

Built for the reading, not the scrolling.

Simple Study Bible is for the ordinary believer working through a passage before bed, the Bible teacher preparing a lesson, and the ministry worker who needs real study tools without a cluttered interface standing in the way. It's built around a simple bet: that a Bible app can be genuinely deep and genuinely calm at the same time.

Take it with you.

Free to start, with a Free Bible Mission behind every Pro upgrade.
